We made some really great fish tacos.
- Fish taco sauce:
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 1/3 c mayonnaise
- 2 T lime juice (1 medium lime)
- 1 t garlic powder
- 1 t sriracha sauce
- Cilantro lime slaw:
- 14oz bag of cole slaw
- 1 c plain greek yogurt
- 1/2 c packed fresh cilantro
- 1/4 c lime juice
- 1/2 t ground cumin
- 1/2 t fine sea salt
- 1/4 t black pepper
- 3 green onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- Fish seasoning:
- 1/2 t ground cumin
- 1/2 t cayenne pepper
- 1 t salt
- 1/4 t black pepper
- Other possible toppings:
- avocado
- tomatoes
- red onion, diced
- cilantro
- cojita cheese
- Fish tacos:
- small soft corn tortilla shells
- fish (wild caught ocean perch was good)
- olive oil
- Fish taco sauce:
- Combine fish taco sauce ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until blended.
- Cilantro lime slaw:
- Combine all cilantro lime slaw ingredients except cole slaw in blender or food processor.
- Toss sauce with cole slaw mix in a large bowl.
- Fish seasoning:
- Combine all fish seasoning ingredients in a small bowl.
- Fish tacos:
- Drizzle fish with olive oil.
- Sprinkle fish seasoning mixture over fish.
- Bake at 375F 20-25 min.
- Break apart fish and remove any bones.
- Warm tortillas in warmer and assemble with desired toppings.
