Crab Rangoon Pizza

Crab filling ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 oz imitation crab meat, drained
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 t garlic, minced
  • 2 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 t soy sauce
  • 1 t sugar
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper

Other ingredients:

  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 package mozarella cheese
  • 1/2 batch of Stromboli Bread Dough
  • Sweet and sour sauce (La Choy was good)
  • Sweet chili sauce (La Choy was good)
  1. Make dough.
  2. Bake crust plain for 4 minutes at 425F.
  3. Blend crab filling ingredients in food processor.
  4. Spread crab filling mixture onto baked pizza crust.
  5. Sprinkle mozarella cheese over crab filling mixture.
  6. Bake 8-12 minutes at 425F.
  7. Cut a few wonton wrappers into 3/8″ wide strips and pan-fry.
  8. Sprinkle fried wonton wrappers on pizza.
  9. Drizzle sweet and sour sauce on pizza.

Made with “neufchatel cheese” for reduced fat and it was just fine!

Notes:

  • A single recipe is good for one pizza. A double recipe is enough for a large regular pizza (1/2 stromboli dough batch) plus 2x Schar gluten-free crusts.
