Crab Rangoons

  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Filling:
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 3-4 oz imitation crab meat, drained
    • 2 green onions, finely chopped
    • 1 t sugar
    • 1 t garlic, minced
    • 2 t Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 t tamari
    • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • Serving sauces:
    • Sweet chili sauce
    • Sweet and sour sauce
  1. Combine filling ingredients into food processor and blend.
  2. Place wonton wrappers on flat surface and put 1 T of filling into the center of each wrapper.
  3. Wet edges of the wonton wrappers with a brush. Fold wrappers shut and seal all edges.
  4. Oil top of rangoons.
  5. Bake at 475F for 8-10 minutes.

Made with “neufchatel cheese” instead and it was good!

Changed from frying in oil on stove to baking in oven.

2021-10-19: Made with tamari sauce instead of worcestershire + soy and that was good.

2023-08-08: Change from soy sauce to tamari. Add serving sauces. Reorder ingredients.
