Garlic Pizza Sauce

  • 1 T olive oil
  • 2 t (4 cloves) minced garlic
  • 2 T flour
  • 1/4 t italian seasoning
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 1 1/2 c half and half
  • 1 T grated parmesan cheese
  1. In small saucepan over medium-low heat, add olive oil and minced garlic. Cook 1-2 minutes, whisking constantly.
  2. Add italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and stir.
  3. Sprinkle in flour and whisk quickly until it is a thick paste.
  4. Let cook and bubble for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Stir in half and half in sections while whisking.
  6. Add parmesan cheese and stir.
  7. Turn heat to low and let simmer 5-10 minutes to thicken.
