- 1 T olive oil
- 2 t (4 cloves) minced garlic
- 2 T flour
- 1/4 t italian seasoning
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1 1/2 c half and half
- 1 T grated parmesan cheese
- In small saucepan over medium-low heat, add olive oil and minced garlic. Cook 1-2 minutes, whisking constantly.
- Add italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and stir.
- Sprinkle in flour and whisk quickly until it is a thick paste.
- Let cook and bubble for another 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in half and half in sections while whisking.
- Add parmesan cheese and stir.
- Turn heat to low and let simmer 5-10 minutes to thicken.
