Brew 25 – Peanut Butter Cup Porter

Mostly the same as #18. I used baker’s chocolate instead of PB2 with chocolate, and 10oz of plain PB2. I also used a different yeast.

  • Steeped Grains (30 min)
    • 14.0 oz Crystal 80L
    • 8.0 oz Munich
    • 7.0 oz Roasted Barley
    • 6.0 oz Chocolate
    • 4.0 oz Flaked Oats
    • 4.0 oz Flaked Barley
  • Fermentables
    • 7.2 lb Pilsen LME
  • Additions
    • 4.0 oz Unsweetened Baker’s Chocolate Bar @ 90 min.
    • 1.0 lb Milk Sugar (Lactose) @ 60 min
    • 10.0 oz Bell Plantation PB2 @ 60 min.
  • Hops
    • 0.5 oz Magnum (DE) @ 60 min.
    • 0.25 oz Fuggle (UK) @ 15 min.
  • Yeast
    • Safale S-04 English Ale Yeast (dry yeast)
  • Primary: 8 days
  • Secondary: 5 days
  • OG: 1.070 @ 76F
  • FG: 1.030 @ 63F
  • ABV: 5.5%
